Large Stratocumulus

Similar in appearance to altocumulus clouds, stratocumulus clouds form in rounded, bumpy layers, often with breaks of sky in between. They vary in color from light to dark gray, and are often accompained by weak rain. Stratocumulus clouds that appear in the morning may indicate stormy weather later in the day.
